Arrival Day:
Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our friendly staff and transferred to your hotel in Moshi. The drive offers a picturesque introduction to Tanzania, with views of lush landscapes and glimpses of Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Day 1: Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut

Day 2: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
On the second day, you’ll leave Mandara Hut and continue your ascent to Horombo Hut (3,720 meters/12,205 feet). The trail transitions from rainforest to moorland, offering stunning views and a variety of plant life, including giant lobelias and groundsels. This 5-6 hour hike is moderate, with plenty of opportunities to take in the beautiful surroundings. Upon arrival at Horombo Hut, you’ll settle in for the night, preparing for the next day’s acclimatization.
Day 3: Horombo Hut Acclimatization

You’ll take a short hike to Zebra Rocks (4,020 meters or 13,189 feet), named for their distinctive black and white stripes. Day 4: Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut

After celebrating and taking in the panoramic views, you’ll descend back to Kibo Hut for a short rest before continuing down to Horombo Hut. This day involves approximately 13–15 hours of hiking.
Day 6: Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate
